Subject Crits July 4th:  Artwork that includes reference to 'The Body'

Paul Vivian has 20 years of experience teaching Fine Art and is currently leading the BA and MA Fine Art courses at the University for the Creative Arts Farnham. He is a practising artist who has published on the subject of collage, participatory art, professional practice in the arts and critique.

Subject Crit : The Body for July 4th 
An invitation to artists in the region to bring their artwork for critique based on the theme of 'The Body', if your work uses directly or indirectly the theme or subject of the body then do come along. We look forward to a lively debate. All mediums and practices welcome!
An Overview of the Subject Crits 
Within these crits we will explore specific subjects across practices. All disciplines and ways of working are welcome. If your work directly relates to the subject or only partially do come along. 
Open to all artists at whether graduate, amateur, emerging or established, these crits are designed to explore how the subject is developed, how we ask questions within the work and how these perspectives and approaches inform the ways in which we develop and resolve our artwork. 
Each crit will include a range of contextual material to both to introduce ideas around subjects and as an opportunity to inform discussion around it. 
Applying a number of innovative crit techniques the Subject Crits are designed to enable all participants to contribute. The aim of each crit will be for us all to benefit from the knowledge and expertise of the group as a whole.
